Field Notes
Thoughts between projects — unfinished, unpolished. Just honest.
AI & Health
Technology only becomes human when it stops trying to replace people and starts making them more understandable.
In medicine, precision matters. But understanding often begins earlier — in language, fear, shame, and the moment a patient does not know how to say something.
A good health application should not be louder than the person it wants to help.
AI in healthcare should not try to impress. It must limit, structure and know when to stay silent.
Multilingualism
I do not think in a single language. I move between spaces where the same memory sounds different.
Some words lose not only sound in translation, but origin.
A language is not just a tool. It is a place where you once lived.
When I switch between languages, I do not only change words. Sometimes I change my distance from myself.
Systems
A system often recognises its weaknesses only when someone enters it for whom it was never built.
Those who design systems should first learn who is overlooked by them.
Efficiency is not automatically progress. Sometimes it only means that a mistake is repeated faster.
A good system protects not only processes. It also protects people from the blind spots of those processes.
Migration & Arrival
Arriving is not a place. It is a state that sometimes begins years later.
You can reach a country and still be on the road for a long time.
Migration is not just movement across borders. It is also the slow reordering of what one calls memory.
I have learned that home sometimes does not disappear. It only changes its shape.
Education & Work
I have never experienced education as a line, but as a collection of doors that did not open in the right order.
Some people build careers. Others build a structure out of detours.
Every job I have done taught me something — including the ones nobody takes particularly seriously on a CV.
Working after school meant for me not just earning money. It meant seeing a new world from the inside every year.
Technology & Craft
Those who have worked with their hands understand technology differently. Not just as theory, but as resistance, weight, error and material.
A device is never just a device. It carries the assumptions of the people who designed it.
Between mechanics, software and medicine there is no break for me. They are different languages for the same problem: how does something work — and why not?
Culture & Countries
For many people Iran is only a political idea. For me it is also smell, language, mountains, school paths, workshops, family rooms and a culture older than its crises.
Those who have lived in several countries compare not only societies. They compare ways of being silent, of hoping and of carrying on.
Every city I have lived in has shown me a different version of myself.
Literature & Memory
Writing for me does not mean holding on to the past. It means giving it a form that can be looked at.
Some memories do not return as stories, but as images, sounds or sentences.
A book often does not begin with the first chapter. It begins with the moment when silence becomes too heavy.
Entrepreneurship
A company should not just sell a solution. It should be able to explain which problem it finds worthy enough to work on for years.
I am not interested in loud founder stories. I am interested in whether an idea is quiet enough to become serious.
A brand for me is not a logo. It is an attitude that remains recognisable even when nobody explains it.
Identity
I did not emerge from a single background. I am built from transitions.
Sometimes versatility is not an advantage. You first have to learn to arrange it so that others can understand it.
I never wanted to have just one direction. I wanted to understand why directions arise at all.
Sport, Music & Art
Sport orders the body, music orders time, art orders what remains in between.
Music was often for me the language that requires no explanation.
Art interests me where it does not decorate, but makes visible what was only felt before.
