About
Himan Khorshidi

I am Himan Khorshidi — engineer, researcher, author and entrepreneur. Raised in Iranian Kurdistan, I have lived and worked in six countries: Iraq, Iran, Turkey, Greece, Belgium and Germany. This journey has shaped me not only geographically, but intellectually and humanly.
Each country gave me a different perspective — a different language, a different way of thinking, a different way of living. I have managed hotels, repaired engines, built systems, written books and founded companies. Not because I had to — but because curiosity never let me go.
Today I live in Germany, studying, researching and building — on projects that connect technology and humanity. My work emerges at the intersection of medical engineering, artificial intelligence and culture.

Work — from Iran to Düsseldorf
Professional Experience
I have never only studied. Alongside school and university I worked in a different field every year — not out of necessity alone, but out of curiosity.
Furniture and beds, confectionery, kitchen, tiling, welding, door automation, sales — four months a year, a different field each year. Every job gave me a different language. Not from books, but from hands, materials and people.

Languages
Language as a Tool
Language has always been my first tool. I think in Kurdish, sometimes dream in Persian, work in German and English — and find my way in many other languages when it matters.
Some languages I learn through books, others through people, others through music, films and the cuisines of this world.
